We got excellent value for our money at D'Altons Studios. The room was super clean, with sparkling windows and high-quality appliances. The luxurious bedding made for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with the Grampians above and wildlife coming to visit at dusk. The staff, especially Ngaire, were friendly and provided great sightseeing tips.
The only thing that could make the breakfast choices better would be the addition of a few more options.

The knives were actually sharp! And the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great, with beautiful views of the hills and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We also loved the comfortable beds and balconies to relax on.
The bunk bed in our cottage was wobbly and squeaky, and some of the boards were missing under the mattress. We had to put the mattresses on the floor to get a decent night's sleep.

The decorations and general areas of the hotel were charming and cozy. I loved the warm colors and comfortable seating throughout. It was easy for us, as seniors, to navigate around the hotel without any difficulties.
It would have been even better if there were more options for activities specifically designed for seniors. Perhaps some organized outings or events that cater to our interests and abilities would enhance the vacation experience.

The rooms at D'Altons Studios in Halls Gap were absolutely fantastic! They had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, like air conditioning, a microwave, and a fridge. The private bathroom was a nice touch too, with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Plus, the kitchenette had all the essentials, including a refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave. I couldn't have asked for more as a young holiday goer like myself!
Personally, I found the shower/tub combination a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just me.

The location of this studio is unbeatable, with a convenient position near the town center that provides both accessibility and a tranquil environment. the cabins offer privacy and an incredible view of a water feature, attracting an array of wildlife such as birds and kangaroos. the interior of the cabin is spacious and well-equipped, featuring a comfortable couch, a large TV, and a fully stocked kitchen. the provided guidebooks were a great resource for exploring the local walks and added to the overall experience.
The main area of the cabin could benefit from an extra overhead light, as it can be a bit dim.

The air conditioning in the rooms was a lifesaver during the hot summer days, keeping me cool and refreshed. The view of the ranges from our cabin was amazing. We was like we were in a remote paradise, yet we were just a short walk away from the town centre. The cabin itself was cozy and had all the basics we needed. We especially loved sipping our morning coffee on the veranda while watching kangaroos roam around just a few meters away.
Although the cabin had adequate cooking facilities, we would have appreciated some oil for the kitchenette. the bed was a little too soft for our liking, as we prefer a firmer mattress.
